secondhand dresses. Chances are, they've only been worn once and won't show

Style Network is breaking the boring beauty-contest mold with Instant Beauty
Pageant, an exciting new series that challenges ordinary women to shop till they
drop, strut their stuff and compete for their very own title and tiara!
What starts as an ordinary day at the mall turns into high-tension TV when six
very special shoppers are ambushed by IBP and invited to participate in a real
live beauty pageant. But there's a catch: The contestants must be ready for the
catwalk in less three hours! With limited time and only $500 to cover an entire
pageant ensemble, the contenders race around the mall on a frenzied shopping
spree to prepare for the spotlight. Ready or not, when three hours is up, the
beauty pageant begins!
The contest commences on the spot and covers the standard categories: talent,
swimsuit and evening wear. A live audience judges each contestant's
presentation, fashion and overall style, and then Ms. Instant Beauty is
revealed! In addition to bragging rights, each winner earns a trip to Mexico,
the right to keep her pageant purchases and--most important, of course--a
dazzling crown to call her own.

Pee Wee 4-6 Short or Long dressy dress
Little Miss 7-10 Short or Long dressy dress
Pre-Teen 11-13 Gown or short evening dress

Miss/Mrs. 18-27 Gown or short evening dress

Model Search Fee - $45.00 (Mandatory)
Each contestant will be judged on Beauty, Poise and Projection & Overall
Appearance.
What do the Contestants do at the pageant?
Each age group will have a group lineup then come on stage one at a time. Each
contestant will model their attire in the center of the stage and have a on
stage interview . Interview (4-6 year olds will be asked simple questions by the
MC Like what's your favorite food, color, TV show, What do they want to be when
they grow up). (7-27years) contestants will be given the microphone and they
will give a short speech about themselves. Include things like name, age,
school, grade, hobbies, interesting facts about yourself & your ambition, etc.
PRIZES
Every Contestant shall receive a Trophy.
Kings/Queens: in each age division will receive a crown, trophy, and their
$200.00 beauty fee paid to State Finals.
Runners-up: Boys and girls in each age group will receive a trophy and their
$200.00 beauty entry fee paid to the State Finals. (4-6 r-up in each age )
Photogenic Winner: in each age group will receive a trophy and their $200.00
beauty fee paid to the State Finals.
If you are not a winner or runner-up you will receive a participation trophy.
Attire, Hair, Eyes, & Smile winners in each age group will receive Medals and
their $200.00beauty entry fee paid to the State Finals.
OPTIONAL INFORMATION
All Optional: Age groups are the same as beauty.
Winner in each age group for each optional!!! ATTIRE, HAIR, EYES, and SMILE are
judges during the group line up. ($10.00 Each)
Photogenic: ($10.00) Bring with you to the pageant your best photo to be judged
for photogenic. Any size but no larger than 8X10. Turn in when you get to
pageant. Photos will be returned to you before you leave. If You would like to
enter more than one photo you may do so at a fee of $5.00 for each additional
photo entered.
